Microsoft will offer a demo of Hollow Knight: Silksong for Gamescom attendees in August, playable on the new ROG Xbox Ally handheld devices as part of over 20 titles at the Xbox booth.

Attendees can also experience a new theater demonstration for The Outer Worlds 2. Xbox president Sarah Bond stated in June that Silksong would be available “at launch and in Game Pass” when Asus’s new handhelds launch later in 2024. The demo will utilize the new Xbox and Windows UI.

Additional titles playable on the new Xbox Ally handhelds include Roblox, Sea of Thieves, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. Grounded 2 will also be available at Gamescom, alongside the first public hands-on opportunity for Ninja Gaiden 4.

Microsoft announced in 2022 that the Hollow Knight sequel was expected within 12 months. Microsoft will also fully reveal Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 during Opening Night Live at Gamescom on August 19th.
