Schneider Electric Singapore and Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on green technologies and cybersecurity, enhancing power resilience and operational security.

The partnership will explore the implementation of smart grid systems that integrate diverse energy sources, including renewables. These systems aim to bolster power resilience through optimized management of energy flows.

Both entities will examine the application of digital twin technology for building systems. This involves creating virtual replicas to monitor and optimize energy consumption within facilities.

The agreement outlines efforts to enhance cybersecurity measures for operational technology (OT) systems. These systems are responsible for managing physical processes within critical infrastructure and facilities.

Schneider Electric and DSTA will facilitate the exchange of best practices in the fields of sustainability and cybersecurity under the terms of this collaboration.
