Galaxy Buds3 FE Offer AI Voice And Real Time Translation

Samsung has unveiled its latest audio offering, the Galaxy Buds3 FE, slated for release in the United States on September 4th. The new earbuds will be available in black and gray color options with a retail price of $149.99. This launch follows the success of the Galaxy Buds FE, which garnered positive reviews.

According to Samsung’s official press release, the Galaxy Buds3 FE will boast upgraded audio capabilities. These earbuds will also feature “seamless connection to Galaxy AI,” integrating hands-free voice commands and real-time translation via the Galaxy AI Interpreter application. The Galaxy AI functionalities require a compatible Galaxy smartphone to be fully utilized. The company stated that access to these Galaxy AI features will be provided free of charge until the end of 2025 on supported Samsung Galaxy devices.

Aesthetically, the Galaxy Buds3 FE introduce what Samsung terms an “iconic blade design.” This design is accompanied by updated pinch and swipe controls intended for managing music playback and volume levels. In terms of battery performance, the earbuds are projected to deliver up to six hours of listening time with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) enabled. With ANC disabled, the battery life extends to approximately eight-and-a-half hours. The included charging case will provide additional power, extending the total listening time to 24 hours with ANC on and 30 hours with ANC off.

Samsung also announced improvements to existing features. Specifically, the company highlighted enhanced Auto Switch functionality alongside “Crystal Clear Call technology.” These announcements suggest a focus on addressing areas where previous models, including the Galaxy Buds FE, had shortcomings. Earlier assessments noted that switching between devices was “annoying,” even within the Samsung ecosystem. Furthermore, microphone quality was described as subpar, with audio sounding “a bit fuzzy and far away” during calls.
