Galaxy One UI 8 Beta 4 Shows Purple Moon Bug – Dataconomy

Users of Galaxy devices running One UI 8 Beta 4 are encountering a peculiar camera bug that renders the moon purple in photographs. This issue, also resulting in blurrier images compared to those captured with One UI 7, affects users in the United States, United Kingdom, and India.

The problem manifests when Intelligent Optimization is configured to “Maximum” and the camera zoom exceeds 30x. This specific combination of settings appears to trigger the coloration anomaly and image degradation. Reports from community forums indicate a growing number of individuals are experiencing this effect.

The One UI beta team has acknowledged the issue and issued an apology for the inconvenience. While a timeline for a resolution has not been provided, a temporary workaround exists. Users can potentially avoid the bug by adjusting the Intelligent Optimization setting to anything other than “Maximum” within their device camera configurations.
